The base is crafted from honed travertine (or a high-quality ceramic designed to mimic natural stone), featuring characteristic pits and earthy textures that make each piece unique.
What type of bulb does this lamp require?
To achieve the warm glow seen in the images, we recommend a standard E26 base LED bulb (60W equivalent). For the best ambiance, look for a "Soft White" or "Warm" color temperature (around 2700K).
How do I clean and maintain the travertine base?
Because the base is porous, you should avoid harsh chemical cleaners. Simply dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. If a spill occurs, blot it immediately with a slightly damp cloth and dry it right away to prevent staining the natural stone.
Is the base heavy?
Due to the solid stone construction, this lamp has a weighted base for excellent stability on bedside tables or desks. The bottom is finished with a non-slip felt pad to prevent the travertine from scratching or marking your wood and stone surfaces.
